About Monica

Growing up, Monica helped her parents manage and renovate
distressed income properties well before she knew what
construction management really was.

After her father died, she witnessed her mother get ripped off on
a major project by a shady contractor. This shaped the course of
Monica’s life, and fueled her drive to work on behalf of
homeowners. Since then she has made it her mission to make
sure no one ever gets taken again. Her mother's experience
inspired her to write international Best Seller Remodel Success.

Monica is a former licensed real estate agent turned certified
construction manager and a LEED Accredited Professional that
holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a bachelor’s degree in
Mathematics from the University of Southern California. She has
served on the Board of Trustees for Berkeley Hall School, the
Advisory Board for the Small Business Development Center at El
Camino College and as a volunteer counselor for SCORE.
