Monica D. Higgins Avid ‘Hire-it-Done’ Homeowner and Founder of Renovation Planners
Renovation Planners was inspired by Monica’s own experience with major ‘hire-it-done’ home renovation projects. She knew that careful planning shaped successful home renovation projects, so she developed a framework to avoid costly common pitfalls.
Others took notice and encouraged her to share her framework with homeowners, designers/architects and contractors. Her empowering approach to remodeling has garnered the attention of HGTV, DIY Network, Wachovia Bank and Entrepreneur Magazine.
Monica holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern California and is licensed by the California Department of Real Estate. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and also serves on the Board of Trustees for Berkeley Hall School.
Our Renovation Planners represent our clients’ interests throughout the remodeling process, overseeing and directing their projects from conception to completion. They are accountable for our clients’ satisfaction and collaborate with them very early in the process to assess and clearly define their needs to avoid misinterpretations and misunderstandings that can escalate project costs unnecessarily.
